Happy Holidays!

Well hello anyone reading my blog!

I know I have been MIA a lot recently but hopefully all of that is about to change. I have found my to do list and I am ready to make some Youtube videos and livestream A LOT.
I actually thought that I would have a lot of time to do some work on my gaming stuff but these holidays have been hectic! I am lucky to have another 10 days to do as much as possible.
So to start this blog I want to talk about the changes that will be happening.
1. I know I started this blog and posted a lot and then didn't post much at all but I will be regularly posting once every week.
2. Dota will stop ruling my life and I will stop playing random games here and there. I will start the A-Z challenge next week and I will do a blog post each week on all of the important little things that I have learnt.
3. I will be a regular visitor to my minecraft server which I have neglected badly. I want to start a project that is determined by my audience.
4. All my social media sites will be continuously updated.
5. I will start a let's play with one of the many games I have neglected to play due to Dota.

Procrastination Blues

I have honestly been extremely busy/lazy to post in my blog. The last two weeks have been somewhat hellish but that is beside the point. Since being home I am just so obsessed with playing as much Dota as possible when I have so many other games I want to play. I am about to start a game right now actually and have decided that as soon as this has finished I will start being a little more productive on my gaming channel and blog and have a wider focus.

I just want to make a note here that I started this post at about 7pm and it is now 11:30pm... Dota just got under my skin arggggghhhh.

Anyways what I actually wanted to talk about was all the friends I have made since live streaming, it has been the greatest thing and they have been pretty nice to me despite me being a complete noob. Also I am going to try and organize myself and get everything I plan to do done over the Christmas holidays and not just play Dota for 20 days straight, I will honestly try.

The plan is to start my Skyrim lets play, get back onto the Minecraft server, upload my live stream videos and get working on this cosplay.

There is one other thing I am thinking of doing and that is maybe doing some sketches for my page if I get any time at all and possible some baking, we will see.

In the mean time I will be live streaming as much as possible since I don't have any more work trips planned in the near future. Thanks for reading and I hope ya'll stay tuned :)

Well this is depressing...

I received a message yesterday afternoon while I was travelling back from Jurien Bay with a severely sun burnt back :(. I was told we had used up 90% of our downloads in less than 3 weeks. I was confident that I would not use the remaining 10% in the one afternoon if I did a short live stream. A short live stream turned into 3 hours of live streaming with a lot of lag and no internet. We are capped so we can still use the internet but very slowly.... I purchased a 30 Gig data pack but I think I will be murdered if I used that up as well. This news has resulted in no live streaming for the rest of November.

On a somewhat better note this will mean that I will start my lets play Skyrim series as I will have a bit more spare time and can upload the videos during off peak so I'll still be around the shop. I am really excited to do a Skyrim lets play because this can just go on forever and ever. I am going to Perth this week for two days and next week for three days and I will be planning my Christmas party so time will be a little squishy and may mean many early morning :'(.

I did a live stream last week that was really fun because I had quite a few people watching and then they ended up playing with me. Although I lost my audience I made some cool new friends to play Dota with which I am really happy about. I have 7 whole followers and 18 on Tumblr! Little by little I am meeting some new people :D.

If this sunburn would be less painful I would be happy...

A small update

Work has been pretty full on lately and I am finding I have less time to blog but have found more time to make regular content posts. I have been live streaming a lot more and have made it a rule that I have to do it at least three times a week.
The next three weeks are hectic though so I think I may have set myself up for failure... I have my work Christmas party this weekend. My boss is taking us to Jurien Bay for a weekend of relaxation. I am so looking forward to it. The next two weeks I am going to Perth for software training which is going to be boring as hell but at least I get away from work for five days..
Live streaming is really fun and I will probably do another one tonight and hopefully my heaps noob friend will be online to play Dota with me. It is pretty fun playing with him even if he does feed a whole bunch.
Well that is basically it for now, not much else has been happening except looking at sewing machines to start making the Templar Assassin cosplay!

Christmas Came Early!

After a boring week at work I was hoping the weekend would be a nice escape from the problems I face in my professional life. I came home and flopped down on the bed. I was telling my boyfriend about what a hectic and stressful week it had been. He had this big grin on his face like he was making fun of me. I angrily asked what he thought was so funny. He looked above my head and I followed his gaze. I screamed in excitement! It was my new Nvidia Shield! I begged him to play reminding him of the shitty week I had. I have not stopped playing on it all weekend! I began by downloading all of the Pokemon games and then some of the Zelda games and then some Mortal Kombat and then Mario and just so much more. It was honestly one of the greatest weekends in a while.

I have started the Dota A-Z and obviously have started with Abaddon. He is pretty great at support and although I did win all three games I played I still feel I have a long way to go with warding and supporting in general. Map positioning is also a weak point for me. Last hitting is pretty easy but sometimes I just over reach way too much to get a last hit... I still have one more game to play with Abaddon so hopefully it will be more successful than the last three in terms of my supporting role.

Being back at work after two days is just not fair... I am looking so forward to Christmas and a two week break from the stressful work environment. I need to do some major gaming!

Yes, I am still alive

This week I may die... I haven't had much access to internet except for at work but usually I am required to do work. This Thursday NBN will be installed in our new home so hopefully we will have internet access within the next week or so. I just wanted to do a quick blog post to touch base with my blog I guess, I miss playing games and its only been about a week. I want to get onto uploading my recoil videos and once that is done I will be doing a new lets play and starting my live streams, especially live streaming my Dota 2 A-Z series (or some of it).
I was thinking of starting some clay modelling when I am not so poor and maybe starting with pokemon as their shapes can be simplified quite easily and see how much better I can get. Looking forward to trying something new :)

One down, a million to go...

Finally! I can't believe it took me a whole month to complete the Recoil series but it is done! Now I just need to decide on a new game to spend all my time with! Dota A-Z starts next month when I finally get internet back. I have finished recording Recoil but I still need to upload them and I have uploaded some in a weird order... I think I will be offline for the next week or so which will be a bit frustrating and time wasting for me but once we get the new internet up and running you just wait!
We are moving to our new house this weekend and are looking into getting the new fiber networking through the National Broadband Network (NBN) that has just been installed in Australia. I am super excited for decent internet. I have been with Telstra for the best part of this year and their internet is just so slow and always dropping out... Doesn't take much to fix but it's just annoying...
The new webcam is set up which is exciting, looking forward to doing lots of live streams and other fun stuff!
Ok well hopefully next month my blog will be a much more exciting place to be!
